Google Classroom
Y1-Y6
Google Classroom is an exciting learning platform with curriculum resources we have been developing for your child to access during any school closure. Your child will have access to Google Classroom using a school email address and a password which each child has been given. Google Classroom has been designed to support pupils having access to increased online learning and crucially develop stronger communication directly with teachers. It allows pupils and staff to collaborate on one learning platform. Your child will be able to access work that has been assigned by their teacher, complete the work online and share this with their teacher. Your child’s class teacher will then be able to give feedback and support your child accordingly in their learning. However, please continue to use Dojo to message the class teacher as direct messages through Google Classrooms will not be responded to.
We would suggest that after accessing your child's classroom, you and your child familiarise yourself with the platform together. This is where teachers will set work and send messages within the class stream. There will be a range of 'assignments' posted and some of the tasks can be uploaded/completed online for the teacher to view.
Please regularly discuss online safety with your children.
